Lovingly Restored Classic 5676
Originally built in 1961 by .”Snipe” boats.This would make a good family first boat or for an introduction to racing.
It’s is a restoration project fresh from my workshop, a balance of conservation and modernisation.
It is fully rigged in all respects and ready to go on the water.
Hull has been epoxy sealed , painted/varnished inside and out.
Some parts are new:
Decks, bulkhead, transom, centreboard knees and rudder stock.
Others are refurbished:
rudder blade, centreboard etc.
There are split control lines for kicker and downhaul.
3 mainsails 2 of which are reduced in size as cruising sails and 2 jibs.
All are reasonable. Sail numbers do not match the boat number. All sails are in reasonable condition.
Boom is a Super Spa and the mast a Proctor D, well used but OK.
Forestay and jib halliard are new.
There is a “Snipe” combination trailer with new tyres, also a box of various useful bits of chandlery and spares?
