Directions by road:
From Newcastle or from the A19, pick up the A1058 Coast Road and head east until you reach the coast. Turn right towards Tynemouth and head along the coast, keeping the sea on your left. When you reach the Priory and clock tower, turn left and head down the hill to the beach.
Directions by Metro:
Leave Tynemouth station as if you were heading for the village or beach, heading left around King’s School. Cross Allendale Place between Lloyds bank and the Land Of Green Ginger, and head straight down Front Street, passing the Co-Op and the Salutation Inn on your right. When you reach the Priory and clock tower, turn right and head down the hill to the beach.
